going for most generic question of 2011 - What wind motor
 

Hi all

Looking into buying a 2wd buggy as Maritime should be ready soon and i'd love to start running some off-road again.

Plan is to get a TRF201...but I am totally unsure what motor wind to get. I use SpeddPassion MMM units in my touring car, find them possibly one of the best motors i've used so want to stick with that range. the track will be similar in size to their current touring car track, but I will also want to do the odd race meet at tracks like Eden Park etc.

Given that in mind would a 6.5 or 7.5 be ideal ? I will be running a TekinRSPro in the car as well.

Stick a 8.5t in it will be fine

I use an 8.5 Novak ballistic in my 2wd at nationals and it's not at all slow!!!

SP7.5 might actually be similar in performance though as I've heard they are a little softer in response than the equivalents by other brands...and the novaks aren't known for being soft at all!!!:D

I have a Novak Ballistic 6.5.

The name describes it pretty well I think....:D
