mini 8 motor mounts coming loose
 

It has been brought to my attention that after a change of spur gear,it stripped the spur withing 10 min. It had been meshed correctly but still stripped the gear. Then when i inspected the motor end cap i found that both screws had worked there way loose, therefore letting the motor twist on the mounting and stripping the spur gear. I have 2 mini 8s and my son has 1 and i check on 2 in the club and they where all the same.1/2 turn loose on the motor end caps. so hopefully this might be of use to others in the future.i have now loctited them in and all is well.hope this helps:thumbsup:
