Details of the Spektrum DSM2 converted stick sets some of the Horizon Guys had?

Does anybody have any info on what went into the Spektrum DSM2 based stick sets that some of the Horizon team drivers use/used?

I am looking at options at the moment and although the Sanwa set is much more comfortable to hold than the Futaba it's still a little chunky for my shallow grip & arthritic fingers.
The KO Universe feels natural in my hand but I'm starting to experience some minor issues with the Spektrum DSM module in it & the KO 2.4GHz system seems like a bit of a pain to bind on a busy race day so would rather not go that way either.

That leaves converting my KO Universe to DSM2 as the only currently viable option ..... any info gratefully received!!!

You need a Spektrum DXR3 pro then the conversion cost around £100.

Cheers Brian.

Who do I contact? Obviously can't afford to be without my transmitter for long this time of year so might have to source another first but want to get this done ASAP really.

Convert your Universe to the Frsky system? just done the 3VC you sold me and can't fault it. And it costs £25 for module and receiver

KO now have a new FHSS 2.4GHz system:

I loved the feel of the Universe, but was put off by the issues some people had with the original 2.4GHz system, however I'm now running the new FHSS system in the Universe and so far it has been excellent. Early days but it binds instantly and just works.
