X-factory parts?

I've been trying to order some parts from x-factory since Friday with out success. It seems the x-factory website is malfunctioning on certain items, and a specific part that I need(dual pulley tensioner upgrade) has been removed from the site all together. I've e-mailed Chazz but have yet to receive a reply regarding this issue. Is there any other place to buy X-factory parts online other then from X-factory? Thanks

Not sure about online but try DMS racing in the UK or Lesro models. You'll have to ring up though.

I tried to order lots of spares direct about 2 weeks ago when the lads were at the Cactus Classic. Chazz e-mailed me back 2 days later (Live from racing) and it was all sorted. Hang in there they'll do there best to sort you out im sure.

Like Dan says Lesro are expecting a Big order this week so get in touch with them aswell.

Our first order from X Factory arrives next week, and in which time ALL X Factory parts will be held in stock and listed on our website to purchase via our online shopping facility.

Chazz expects to despatch the order on wednesday (later today as I type) and it should be here mid to end of next week. We have the FULL compliment of Kits, upgrade packs, spares, E-Speed, DDP, clothing, pit boxs, basically the LOT all coming in and will hold the largest stocks possible here in the UK on a full time basis.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I guess should have mentioned that I'm from the US. ;) They have always been timely in there replies and the shipping is the fastest I've experienced:thumbsup: I hope they get it sorted soon as I'm only a few parts short. Thanks all.

Hey Myzislow - the shopping cart company we use recently was performing some site maintenance and took a bit longer than they said they would. Had we known it was going to take them so long we would have put up a message. Everything should be back up and running though - let us know if you're having problems with a specific part.

Unfortunately, Losi/Horizon has stopped producing the larger H.D. idler pulley that was part of the double idler pulley kit, so we've had to take that kit down. You can add a regular (smaller) pulley on the idler bar to a similar effect - email Chazz about it, I'm sure he'd put something together for you.

Thanks for your reply. I've e-mailed him so I'll just wait for him to reply. That's unfortunate about the pulley, do you think a smaller pulley in place would still have the same effect?

When I try to purchase some losi out drive bearings it comes up in the shopping cart as: # LOSI A6235 Screws, King Pin (8/pkg). That's pretty much the only problem I was having with the site; and the absence of the dual pulley upgrade that I wanted to purchase.

Thanks again.

Does this mean then that Lesro are no longer the importers of X-factory in the UK then?

Yes, adding a second smaller pulley would still help to alleviate skipping by increasing the belt wrap on the drive pulley. The larger idler pulley also helped to relieve some tension in the belt by broadening the curve the belt has to make, and two small idler pulleys don't have that advantage, but you still get the increased belt wrap. On the plus side, with two small pulleys I think you can still run the regular yellow XXXS belt and don't have to change to the longer H.D. belt.

The outdrive bearings are fixed now. My bad, just messed up one of the "add to cart" links in one of the updates. All good now.

Yes, Lesro is no longer the exclusive importer for X Factory in the U.K. The details are still being worked out - Chazz can give you lots better information. There was no big announcement; I think the first mention on these boards was in this thread: http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8651

Yes, X factory are looking to appoint several dealers here in the UK, we indeed will be the first one of them (of how ever many they will acquire). Our deal is for the entire south east of the UK, as an exclusive (we will be the ONLY dealer is this area of the country).

Other dealers may be appointed for the midlands and north if Chazz finds a suitable outlet who he thinks will represent X factory to its full potential, this only Chazz can confirm though........

Looking forward to giving X factory the full support the cars and brand deserves, we will be putting 100% in to it with a huge range all held in stock, coupled with our quick delivery service, we believe X-Factory will be as easy to obtain here as any other off road brand that is already currently available (and easier to get than some too!!!)

myzislow 09-04-2008 05:29 PM

Ok, cool, I just put my order in. Thanks again.

Back to bed? I hadn't been to bed yet when I wrote that! Take a quick break from the homework at around 4 in the morning, see what everyone's posting in the morning "across the pond." Ahh, the life of a graduate student. Now its about 3 in the afternoon, I'm pretty tired, but have an assignment yet to complete and two group meetings to get to.

YoungChazz 10-04-2008 05:49 PM

Sorry guys, I have been crazy busy shipping stuph to Family members & dealers all over the world. Business is just incredible, and we'll be using this increased revinue to bring you more higher quality cars & parts. X - 60 lives! Will get back to the E-mails on Friday AM.

We have indeed appointed a new dealer in U.K., IN ADDITION TO LESRO MODELS. Lesro will continue to stock X Factory Kits & parts. Anyone in U.K. certainly can trade with whichever store they wish; Lesro primarily serves the south west.

We are in process to appoint several new dealers in U.k. each in a different region.

To that end, we are indeed happy to begin what we hope will be a long relationship with DMS Models, serving south east U.K. As one of the country's largest model shops, we're sure you're all familiar with Darren and his great crew, and we're looking forward to his fine representation.

The first half of DMS' order, including all the parts and a stock of X - 6s was shipped on Wednesday and should arrive on his shelves late next week. The remainder, including X - 5s and UpGrade Kits, + shirts, hats, and accessories, will go out Thursday afternoon if I can tear myself away from the computer! LOL

So now two great shops to serve you: Lesro Models and DMS Racing. Yess!!!

DMS Models
DMS Models, do we have some competition from another store named similiar to us Chazz!!!! LOL

Cant wait to get going now, the phone calls have been coming thick and fast over the last days now and there are a lot of people out there looking for a "fresh" source of parts etc.

Chazz, dont reply to this any more, get off the computer and go and get that second half of the order packed and shipped!!!!! LOL

YoungChazz 10-04-2008 09:34 PM

All remaining items were shipped to D.M.S. today. (April 10) To the best of our knowlege, Lesro has always had most X Factory Kits & parts in stock and still do now. We filled an order for them a couple weeks ago.

So, as quickly as things get through U.K. customs, we'll have two fine shops selling X Factory in U.K.

Garry Driffill 12-04-2008 08:13 PM

Knowing DMS-Racing are now stocking all parts for the X-6 i can feel my next 2wd sorted i think, used to order loads from you guys a couple of years ago maybe....

Definatly good to know ! :)

Darren Boyle 12-04-2008 10:08 PM

Thanks for the kind words, a nice relief from the PM I just replied to on our own forum, you just cant please them all!!!

All stock should be here now within the week!! Back orders are already in for pre-ordered stock of conversions and spares from variuos customers, I can see it might just be a busy end to the week!!!

YoungChazz 13-04-2008 02:49 AM

U.S. Post Office tracking shows DMS' packages have arrived in U.K.. They should be on their way into customs Monday morning.

Darren Boyle 13-04-2008 10:20 AM

Good news Chazz, thanks for the update.
