LAW 43 NCG Arms
Guys,
No sure if this has been covered, but are these arms really worth the £36 for them? Or are they a nice to have??? They just seem a bit pricey for 4 wishbones and a couple of bits of carbon. Or am i just looking at it the wrong way. Any advice, help, guidance. |
Take a look at some pictures, the kit contains four arms, new kind with more meat around hinge pins and the NGC plates to lower shocks mount.
It's Kyosho so kind of expensive but seems ok to me for what it does. |
Ive had them on the car for around 3 months , very planted and surefooted on faster sweeping bends.
They certainly havent made the car worse. |
After running them since they were released and recently taking them off as part of the big bore setup trials I personally think you should think "just £36 for such a huge improvement to the car's corner speed ... BARGIN!!!!".
They are quite simply worth every penny (and for cheap skates like me remember it is possible to mod your old UM521/LA272 arms as spares!) |
Agreed, definately more consistent through the turn. I wouldn't take them off now..

I even have them on my 2wd - wouldn't go back either
I am sure Inside Line Racing have them in stock at reasonable prices. click here for direct link |
Interesting about the 2wd Tony, I thought the Vega ran the wishbones the same way around as the orignal RB5 but has it's shocks on the back ... pictures please!!!

Roger Roger Roger.
As a Kyosho driver I don't just run a Vega matey - LOL |

Cheers Guys, many thanks for the advise, I will have to save up a bit more for the arms. On last set of old LA272 so will invest on a set when i get to that stage. I didnt realise they made that much difference.

Tony ... the rear motored RB5 still puts a huge smile on my face every time I get to drive one ... glad to see your keeping one in the stable :)
Windy ... upgrade now ... you can modify the LA272 arms to work with the brackets so that gives you some spares! |
Can these be used with the old style smallbore shocks or are they only needed for the bigbore FS2sp's?
