which shell , for 190mm tc

Hi what shells are mostly used on tarmac and also carpet ? :eh?:

For carpet and tarmac i normaly go for the mazda speed6 , but lately have been after a shell with a bit more steering for tarmac racing ..

Ive just tried the blitz "volt" shell at my local tarmac track today , found it to have more steering , but did'nt like the sudden break away i got from the shell , but was'nt an issue with the speed6 ..

How do the others vary , and what do you run ... :)

The blitz G35 is meant to be good(I have one ready to test) the ltc-r is good for a shell with a tad more steering than the speed6, I also like the r9 although some don't like the amount of front downforce it has, the car gains loads of steering.

I've got a Blitz S5 on my car at the moment, my impression is that it is a "steering" shell rather than a "stability" shell but it has been working well in practice at Cotswold and went pretty well around the club carpet track at Chippenham.

Best thing about the Blitz shells is the material they are made from - doesn't seem to get those cracks in the wheelarches like the Protoform ones.
