Batley interclub team for this weekend

Gents,

I have found myself organising the Batley team for the north east interclub competition this weekend, if anyone fancies racing for Batley (and is a member or regular(ish)) please let me know and ideally I’ll form 2 teams. If I find us with a team and a half I think a scratch team may be made on the day so as many people can race as possible.

I’m away with work now until Thursday so I’ll be sorting it out then.

Cheers,

Dan

Dave,

It may come to that, I've fad a few let downs late on so we're down to 1 team and a bit, I hope these guys (and girl) will get to race in a spec team as I've led them to believe they're going to get to race :(

They can race as York C if they want Dan :D

All,

Right, seems I have not only been trusted (mis) to organise (badly) the Batley team at the last minute but also open up. I'm going to be there for 07.45.

We will need as many people as possible to help cut the grass and lay the track as There's no way I can/will be doing it all myself.

Cheers,

Dan

PS G- I've now been let down by so many people (inc one who have defected to your team at the last minute :( or won't race incase it rains) that we now only have 9 and will be relying on someone racing twice (don't worry he's an F3 so it's allowed). Bury I believe now have 9 people.

Lastly can you have a look at my tranny this weekend please?

Yeah, no problem Dan.

PS if you want to bring your Power supply, I've borrowed a 2.2Kv genny off of my Dad, so there'll be plenty of power available! :o

Can I suggest that all York A drivers try and pit close together, it makes it much easier for Julie to check that everyone is ready.

G, who us in the York A? the e-mail I got only gave a list of drivers, not which team (A or B) that we're in:confused:

Northy 02-09-2006 08:17 PM

Teams as I know them:

YORK – A

2wd 1 Paul Bradby
2 Arslaan Butt
3 Tom Cockerill
4 Andy Fox
5 Richard Coates
4wd 1 Ben Riley
2 Richard Isherwood
3 Graham North
4 Jim Dixon
5 Craig Collinson

YORK – B

2wd 1 Ian Canavan
2 Darren Horsman
3 Nick Gordon
4 Ben Jemison
5 Mike Cockerill
4wd 1 Simon Major
2 Shane Foot
3 Bobby Scott
4 ____________
5 ____________

So it looks like there could be room in the B team for a couple of drivers.

Brilliant, it's 5 to 10 and I've just been let down by ANOTHER person :(

I think it's fair to conceid the title to York A now and the rest of us race for 2nd place ;)

Graham, how come you've made the A team when Bobby's in the B, shouldn't that be the other way round? :D

Northy 02-09-2006 09:02 PM

Cheaky twat! The York A team captain says she'll deal with you tomorrow! :p

I'm off to bed now, to sleep with said captain! :D
