Heart rate whilst driving an RC model car

‎12th Scale National at Chesterfield today.
----------------------------------------
For my final I had a heart rate monitor on from my Garmin cycle computer. I started the timer at 8 mins before my final and stopped it after I marshalled. Here's the graph the software produces, 157bpm, eeeeek during the race.

Need to see the results to se if I can pin point when it was

That heart rate is something I see whilst giving it go on the pushbike or on a climb. Didn't expect to see it up there from driving a model car.

I had to stop drinking caffeine because mine was doing stuff like that... even when I wasn't racing :o I noticed when I was on the rostrum it would start to quicken, it even did it when I was playing racing games around a mates on his Xbox.

After cutting out coffee I'm better but not calm enough still, adrenaline rush I guess, and probably why so many of us enjoy this so much and get such a buzz from it.

Only coffee I had was 05:30 before setting off for the meeting. During the day I had black tea and mineral water.

It was an intense final as from 3rd I was rear ended on the 1st corner then got back to 5th by the end. Did have a few incidents on the way back through the field though

Tea is full of caffeine too.

Spike, need to look at the lap times to see if it's were we traded paint, or I may just have a heart condition :woot:

enjoyed the aftermath just as much;), even if I could get to your bumper I couldn't make it past, well done.
