race details for clanfield on the 25th march

gates will open at 9am,we can use the track from 10am,so as its are first meeting for 6 months could everyone please turn up early to get booked in then we can open for practice, there will be no burger van ,plus just to let everyone know most of the track is now back in good order except for the last corner, need to raise more money for this, hope to do it in block paving later in the year, just remember this is only a club meeting and hope to give everyone as much track time as pos, looking to do 4 rds and 20 min finals, plus for the winners of every final they will get free entry for the following meeting, this will only be for clubman drivers,so best clubman driver in each final, remember we are here to enjoy racing and dont want any politics ,there will be no joining fee this year so everyone will be in the championship, looking forward to seeing everyone back enjoying the track again, and some big air time

That's what puzzled me if there is no joining fee there are no club members so where does the term Clubman come from unless as I already questioned it just means unsponsored drivers.

I'm sure Tony will post back tomorrow and answer this.

well here goes, what is a clubman,in my eyes someone that does their racing for fun and is not sponsored, thats why i hope the money back deals will go to the clubmans that have to pay for their own gear etc ,as they never get to win anything when the big boys are racing

Thanks for clearing that up Tony.
