Servo saver?

Does anyone run a servo saver on this chassis, if so which one and will it fit the Spektrum servos?
Thanks

But your servo IS at risk without one. I don't run one either though.

I dont run one but I have seen a few people break the kit servo horn. I think something else is more likely to break than a high quality metal geared servo.
A good quality heavy duty saver would at least take away any possibility of breaking the horn but its never happened to me, so......

The associated part code is i think 9180 for the servo horns always handy to have some in the pit box. I have found that if the screw comes just a little loose, holding the servo horn on it will strip the plastic threads of the horn.

I'm using the high-torque servo that comes as part of the Spektrum kit, it has a metal spline and I think metal gears. I also replaced the stock horn with an ally one, much faster steering. I think I might try and find a saver, I dont fancy paying for another servo just yet. I just bought a Mamba 5700 for it so no more expense for a while ;)
