Hello mini fans.
I have noticed that the mini class has become somewhat insane.
I dont think that everyone is enjoying it anymore. Some are, sure but I remember having more fun with the minis when they were not so insane.

Is anyone interested in using a set motor?
23t ansmann motors are very cheap (£8) and i'm sure dave can get them as they are ansmann.

I wouldnt even mind using a silver can motor, the one that comes with the kit as they make for really close racing.

I dont know everyones opinion but I have spoken to 3 other mini class drivers and they are of the same opinion so thats 4 of us there.

I also think that any hop ups should be allowed as people like to bling and hop ups dont make a massive difference on minis. Not with a 23t motor anyway, which are not slow by the way.

We have some idea's in place for september but for the time being I will be spliting slower cars/drivers in to 2 heats, this friday as I was the only slow driver, I just did the one heat.

If anyone wishes to be in the slower heat, please let me know. :)

My thanks to Chris for checking out my Mini last week.. Although kinda depressed as I've got no excuses now apart from my being a crap driver !


Guess I need to be in the slower heats Dave.. Although I've got a HPI 20t motor. Not that it feels like it as everyone comes flying past.

My setup is a Tamiya 101, HPI 20t Clash ? but stock apart from that. I realise I'm a crap driver but it isn't half demoralising when it looks like your car is in reverse.
