I don't think the Pics really leave you in any doubt do they?? I can't see even a paper as daft as the News of the World risking such a story - Max used to be a judge so i'd think he'd wipe the floor with them if there wasn't any truth behind it?

personally, i've never liked him and I think his ideas are starting to ruin F1. Hopefully this will be some ammunition for people to ask for his resognation, and let someone that knows what they are doing run the show. He's a polotician, not a sports person. Thats why polotics have become more popular in F1, because he probably encourages it as its all he knows.

The only problem if he went, is that Jean Todt is favorite to replace him if/when he steps down, can you imagine that? he'd walk down the pit lane saying, "your car is fast, but your not Ferrari, have a fine, oh, your not Ferrari either, you can have a fine, your car is slow and won't beat a Ferrari, your ok"

That's a bit harsh. For sure the FIA is weighted quite heavily towards Ferrari, at the moment at least. But when has that ever been the case?

telboy 01-04-2008 03:05 PM

It hasn't, he's just saying that would 'fictisciously' happen if Todt came in to power.

But if you read autosport, there was a column in there the other month, highlighting all the things that have gone ferrari's way over the history of F1 when it come to protests and technical infringments.......and theres A LOT! They've even had their cars disqualified by the tracks scrutineering for a 'technical infringment' before because their cars were illegal, and the FIA overturned it because it would've meant they lost the championship.
