Southport are racing most sundays now until October!!!

You know you want to come along!

Lee 31-03-2008 02:35 PM

I do, its just 2 1/2 hours each way:thumbdown:

jimmy 31-03-2008 02:37 PM

think I'll go to Batley if it's on and nice weather - awesome track and I've not raced there for ages.

Mike Hudson 31-03-2008 02:44 PM

Batley for mee too if its on and the weather is good :) if not then Bury

Chrislong 31-03-2008 02:45 PM

Bury for me if the weather is good.

Id like to think many of you will be coming, especially as it currently needs racers to attend more than ever to remain open.

Lee 31-03-2008 02:49 PM

The only criticism i have is, why are all 3 clubs running on the same day?

We know bury and batley struggle for members ( not sure about southport) so why dont bury and batley alternate weekends, so they both get a good turn out instead of a few heats each week, it will benefit them, it will bring better racing more numbers and this should spiral as word spreads.

footey 31-03-2008 02:51 PM

does seem the best way lee
also what time we gotta be at bury if im coming:D as its a fair way from mine

bigred5765 31-03-2008 02:53 PM

im with lee on this one
but bury it is for us
and the 12 ish start is always good

Lee 31-03-2008 02:53 PM

They could even run a club championship between them, like 8 rounds and 3 from each to count:confused:

Chrislong 31-03-2008 07:12 PM

Each one will have members loyal to them only, Southport especially has this - Bury & Batley need it. So to have club meetings not clash would be catastophic! I mean, we don't mind (or perhaps we do, with price of fuel!) travelling and have a dilemma when they clash, but thats just us and the club wouldn't survive on just us, it needs the local Joey coming from around the corner.

Southport for me, first round of the summer series, and as i've never raced there before, it will be good practice for the regional the following week

woOdy 31-03-2008 08:14 PM

Bury for me:thumbsup: First time out with the B44.

Medders 31-03-2008 08:14 PM

batley

paulc 31-03-2008 08:23 PM

bury weather permitting and how much is for a none member to race and is it 4 quallys and a final and the late start does sound good

cheers paul

Lee 02-04-2008 02:18 PM

Bury:thumbsup:

But the weather is meant to be cack:thumbdown:

Richard Lowe 02-04-2008 03:56 PM

Batley and Bury running on the same day is a bit awkward, I want to support both :(
