Cougar SV setup for racing against touring cars

Hi ooplers,

Im after a little advice if possible. I race my cougar sv everyweek against touring cars in doors (no off road clubs in my area :bored:) How ever i cannot seem to set the car up,

I iether end up with to much bite on the front end causing the rear to lift off the ground and some times roll if i go into a bend to hot lol(not good)

or

I end up with not enough bite on the front causing me to take a wide line around bends and im not able to get the power on early.

I'm not a complete novice to racing i used to race 20yrs ago off road. The annoying part is i can set my car up to a level where im happy when it comes to off road racing, but im stumped when there are no jumps or bumpy ground.:p

I'm hoping somebody might have a setup i could try?

cheers

slam it to the ground and run it hard stiff and as wide as possible

see if anybody wants to swap it for a touring car?

I run an sv and touring cars, and to be honest I can't see that the sv would ever really be competitive against tc on carpet. Theyre just different horses for different courses, but as has been prev said lower it as ,uh. You can and stiffen up the springs and the damping if your still getting too much bite on any end maybe trim back the spikes to let it push a bit
