oOple Invernational - with Short Course

Hi Short Course fans - the 2012 oOple Invernational will have a class for SC's - so far we're not sure what interest in the 2WD / 4WD will be so we've not decided if it'll be just one class or a class for each as it'll depend on interest.
If you want to race SC at this R/C festival - then get your name down now!

I've registered for 2WD SCT as well as the buggy classes,

Have heard a few more keen to run trucks at a club meeting last night so hopefully it will get enough interest.

Would love to have some proper tail out truck racing on a proper surface

SCT Jägerbomb race? I'd bring a bottle!

Have you still got the Durango Truck Jimmy?

I have indeed, seriously considering Running it at the oople race.

I booked in for2wd truck but would prefer 4wd if I'm honest. Hope I get the chance. It's what sc trucks were made for!

I have booked in for 4wd,i know how good they are at coventry.

Is it hole shots all round even on a 2 wheel drive short course?

graveltrap 07-03-2012 12:18 PM

You can get ribs for the front of 2wd sct :)

jimmy 07-03-2012 12:23 PM

Afaik Holeshots all round - Ribs are illegal on SC's in ROAR rules anyway aren't they? Not that we're being that strict.
If you've booked in for SC - I messed up and didn't split it, so just so you understand, you need to book in for SC whatever it is (2wd or 4WD) and list your car so we know - then we can do the split. It might end up with mixed 2WD and 4WD but a trophy for each class, or it could be a heat of each, it really depends on numbers. I'm sure we can email you to confirm later.

I am looking forward to this. Hope I get in. Is it sad that I booked in as SCT as my main class and buggies as a backup :D

Holeshot on the driven axle of SC, with simply a proline SC tyre on the non-driven axle..

Hpi_guy 07-03-2012 02:22 PM

Frecklychimp 07-03-2012 06:22 PM

Awwww, I put buggy as preferred... Guess I'm not hardcore enough about SCT

Robbiejuk 07-03-2012 07:32 PM

Ribs on sct would look rubbish. May as well be running a large stadium truck.

Are the competitors selected at random or by a selection process?
