Rear Hing Pin

Hi!

I've a problem with my X-6. The rear hing pins feels very soft and gets bend all the time.

After a few runs they look like bannanas

Someone who have the same problem or got any tips?

That's the difficult part.
Probably at a very very specific super giga professional hardware store. (I got it from a friend)

We use a Dormer drill blank 7/64".

We've been using these for something like 3 or 4 years now. Never had any breaking or bending.
Well one actually but it was on Elvo's car. So we have to assume the hingepin got bored and just decided to commit suicide

But other makes than Dormer will also work. Just make sure you use a HSCo based version, since HSS will bend, and anything harder than HSCo will break.

I recently got some 2.8mm drill blanks off ebay for £1 each, which are perfect on diameter and hard as nails. Just a fraction long so drilled out the plastic toe-block to increase the depth.

Sadly I bought all of them , but keep an eye out as they do come up occasionally.
