Is it okay to trim my receiver wire?

The length of my wire is too long so i was wondering if it would be okay to trim a bit off?

You shouldnt rally as it will affect overall reception , merely doubling it up is what i used to do .

As far as i know if you double it up your actually cutting the signal.

I was afraid that it would effect the reception thats why i asked in the first place. The wire is rediculously long. Well maybe i will double it up like you said. Did you use tape? Thanks for your help.

They are fine to trim, but i would recommend putting a cap on it, then twisting, and taping it round the aerial tube.
