clubrace lipo specs??
 

Dear Guy's, Iám a bit confused about the c values on the lipo's.
What will be the minimum you need to use for racing?
Will 5000mah 30c be enough, this because there are 60c's to 90c's and are very expensive:confused:

there is all about how much is your esc and motor consumption. Let say 500MAh 30c, 5000*30 is 150 ampers.

you welcome, but keep in mind that you would after some time buy stronger esc/motor and that batterie would maybe not be eable to give you that consistently discharge and you would again have to buy new batteries, so think about it and buy at liest 50c or stronger, i hope that some of fellows hier would add few words whit their opinion.

5000mah 30c is more than enough for ANY 10th off road car.
For years I ran 4200mah 30c in a 4wd, sphere TC and a 6.5 without any probems.

this batteries of yours are 30 euros or 100 for a piece? Cause i have similar setup but mine batteries are swollen from first use. I think that there is big difference in how much you are willing to spend for batteries.

hi as col says 30c lipos are plenty for most drivers quality is often more of a leveller than figures on a sticker try to buy "reputable" names they will benefit you in the longer run .

i knowed that, i hade only input that he is having a "reputable" batteries for sure, so i do not know how is that an answer for mate that hade say, that do not wanna to spend a lot of money for batteries. So when he is already buying cheap batteries is better to buy with more c and mah, is it not?

i have to geth me one of them :) still they are almost double of price for 30 euros china crap batteries.

Well bought these: 5000mah40c from Gens-ace, hope they are not to bad:confused:

since they are roar approval must be not bad (i think), and price of 35 euros is also not bad, but i would not charge them 5c like they say is possible.

I use the nanotech ones, various C rating and all have been great and loads of power and no swelling. I use the 135C ones and there great.

brca approved are only needed for brca sanctioned events....Club racing are fine to have these and half the price of the "named" brands.:thumbsup:

Yeah they are really good, used them for many a year or two with no issues at all and I think you can get them for around £35 on ebay now:thumbsup: and you could always get the 5000 35c or 5200 45c for around £6-7 more;)
