slipper and diff adjustment

What is the best way to set the slipper and diff. I dont want to melt the diff after a meeting. The factory recommended setting on the diff seemed to have more resistace than i would have thought. I know the wheels should turn in opposite directions but how smoothly? The looser it goes the smoother the wheels turn,, but will this be too loose...? And as for the slipper, i guess thats trial and error?:bored:

as the instructions says on the diff. make it tight then back it off an 1/8 of a turn. works a treat. as for the slipper thats up to the track your running on, some times try holdin the bac wheels and see if when under power it lifts the front wheels slightly. but watch it doesnt fly up an hit ya in the face. ots a start from there its trial an error
