Classic Ford Escort rc

Looking for a bit of help here guys
Im a fan of the classic ford escorts mark 1 & 2 (1/1 scale),I am looking to buy an rc bodyshell that replicates the classic lines of the escort,preferebly the mk1,is there such a shell out there? has anyone had one painted they could post pics of?
If i were able to get hold of a shell & get it painted,maybe have the mexico decals made up etc it would be more of a shelf queen than anything else
I presume the shell would be 1/10th & sit on a touring car chassis?
Thanks in advance

You can get (at least could get) abs ones from mardave for the v12 chassis. I saw one at our club (srcc) once and it was a beauty - very scale looking.

I just found this.....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RC-body-sh...item2a1a5184d6
.....complete with bubble arches!!!!!!!!!!:drool::thumbsup:
I need to be contacting a few shell painters now then

Looks to be the same company 'retro racing' as on modelsport
Will this shell fit any touring car chassis?

yes it should fit any 190mm touring chassis.

Here's mine that is a shell made by a company called somebodies, which has now sold the moulds to kamtec I believe.
The blue and white is painted, not stickers, all done by myself (pinstriping was a mare!), along with the LED headlights and spots.

I'm sure I have a couple more pics somewhere... will have to find them if you wanna see more??
