In response to another thread running in the Mid South forum, I thought I'd bring you all up to date with progress at the Silverstone.
We will be running on the grass track for the April 6th Regional meeting which has been re-designed and moved slightly to make use of fresh grass areas.(See attached pictures)
The plan is to now start laying the astroturf, weather permitting around 1-2 weeks after the Regional meeting. We will still need as much help as possible as each roll of astroturf is approx. 3 Tonnes!!!

The finished track on a wide angle lense! It was rolled today so just needs to be cut again before Sunday.

No! I ran the BJ4 round it the other day and felt ok. The grass will get at least one more cut before Sunday. It's alot better for being rolled on Saturday too!! Just waiting to hear back from Bruce ref. final open times, booking in, open practice and wether theres gonna be hot food&drink?!
