410 or 410r ??

This is on ebay atm, notice the 410r stickers? I have emailed the seller and asked the question and he says 410 because its got cf shock towers, so I asked if he has box and instructions but it has no box or instructions... Am I right in being suspicious? How could you tell which version it is?

That's an R. Or a downgraded full fat 410. Either way, it's a 410r spec with carbon towers. Was retailed at this spec from MB Models for £175 up until recently when stock depleted. Additional to this it has the carbon rear brace, alloy rear diff brackets and alloy suspension hangers.. It's a mongrel.. :-)

To add a bit more, it seems to have the rear spur gear mount in alloy, which is full fat, but is deficient alloy side rails and alloy servo mount which came as standard on full fat.

And possibly the pre 2010 spec too which may limit your lipo options due to height of battery strap and centre shafts etc.

Hard to tell. It has got all the aluminium upgrades and all the gold washers but has steel turnbuckles? I also reckon it is an upgraded R. Whatever it is, it looks in good order.

410 or 410r

I think it is a 410 with plastic chassis sides. That and the anti roll bars are the only things that are missing which he may have as spare...

It's not an R, all the hangers are alloy and a lot of people converted to plastic side pods. Thw seller also said it had V3 parts on it and does the motor mount so you'll have on issues with getting lipos to fit. It looks half decent and to be a steal. I'd go for it.

I think it's a full fat, but as he says

The car is the dex410 with parts from v3 .its original dex410 and not a dex410r.
he's pinched the alloy bits for the V3 and swapped the turnbuckles. Not sure how to explain the stickers. maybe it's just a spare sheet he's including with the shell.

not sure about anyone else but mine came with both sticker sheets 410 and 410r
maybe he used the 410 set

the shell looks new maybe the only shell he cud get is a 410r shell

This is an upgraded Dex410R.
You can se it has steel turnbuckles, plastic steering bridge. And it is not the machined aluminium steering plate.
