BigBore Pistons

I see that alot of drivers are using 1.3mm x 4 hole pistons in the Durango BigBore, are they homemade or Losi, or what are they ?

Nick on here will make you tapered pistons for the Durango mate. In any hole combo's you desire:thumbsup:

You can use glue to fill the holes, then drill out hole sizes and numbers to suit what you want, or you can get some of Nick's tappered pistons, transformed my big bores:thumbsup:

Use the undrilled pistons that comes with the kit

Ok so use the tapered pistions 1.3*4 all round for the 210 right?
What about the 410? 1.3*4 F 1.3*5 R

Also do you put anything in the holes or just CA glue?

JohnM 21-02-2012 07:02 AM

On my 410, I have Nick's tappered pistons, 4 hole x 1.4mm 600cst oil front, 5 hole 1.4mm 500cst oil rear, kit springs all round.

I did try gluing holes with the same glue I use for my tyres, but I wasn't convinced about how they felt, copied one of Adam Skelding's set-ups for the tappered pistons, not looked back:thumbsup:

Can't say anything for the 210, not got one.

I've got Nicks tapered pistons on both the 410 and 210 6x1.3 front and 6x1.2 rear 27.5 losi oil front and 22.5 losi oil in rear running on high grip astro and it seems to work well a lot more consistent.
