what lipo battery???
 

HI there.

Can anyone help me. I'm after some budget lipo batteries for my cat sx, running a novak speedo and 6.5t brushless motor.

any suggestions on what to go for, what amph, C rating. looking to spend about £30-40 a set.
Its a mine field and i'm really not sure what to go for.

I'm selling some if you are interested, IP 5000 mah, 30C. Used them in my Cat SX and very well suited. (£35 posted, and they are advertised in the for sale section)

If you want new I think you would really need to spend a bit more than your budget to get good ones, but someone else might have a better idea than me.

you also need to keep in mind that the max height of the lipo has to be no more than 24mm-
its a nightmare trying to find suitable lipos for a cat:(

Yes, good point, anything over 5700 is very doubtful for fitting in a Cat SX

id say buy new, and vapex tech do some good cells which are also brca approved
some new cells due soon, which are on the brca list for 2012
