Dex210 Bump Steer

HI Guys, just wondered if you run the car std or space up the outer hub ball stud like on Hupo's car in the pics/link below??

Yes, you will need the washers to remove the bump steer. When you lift the wishbone through the suspension travel, the wheels should stay in the same direction. If your wheels turn a little through the travel, keep adding a washer until this stops.

All cars experience this, and depending on the geometry you have chosen, this will change the number of washers you require

what is Hupo using? Looks like something other than a load of shims, which I cant quite tell from the pics.

Looks like Huop is using a stack of the Durango gold washers and the coned spacer from the Dex410 on his car.

Is there a normal amount used for carpet?? 2-3mm??

The amount of washers needed depends (mainly)on the amount of castor you are running.
More castor = more washers. About 4-5mm for 30 degrees castor. It does also depend on your ackerman plate position.
