Tbh mate, have a look on ebay for:

Lrp Shark (dont by a FTX blaze, alot of people miss advertise the blazes as sharks, the reason is because there too narrow and too short wheelbase to race and stand a chance)
Losi mini 8ight
Carisma GT14b

All those are capable of winning races from clubs all the way too nationals. Plenty of spares for them all aswell.
