Stronger driveshafts

Having only ever broken two driveshafts, one being a x2c and one being an x4pro I am assuming the driveshafts of ansmanns to not be up to much stick?
So is there a stronger replacement?or a modded set I can fit, heard talk of Losi etc but not sure which car etc

Thanks

I don't get this buy a car when it fails cot bits of other cars, why not buy the better car in the first place?

the std driveshafts are ok, i have found that if you grease them they will be fine.

Not had any driveshaft issues on my X2C or X4TE, been running them both weekly for several months now.

I've not done anything special to the cars, just built as per the manual so unsure why you're having problems on 2 seperate cars!

WOW I'm like Gonky except I've used them for almost 2 years.
What conditions were you racing in? Surface and approx temps?

How did they break, snap in half,at the dogbone pin or the other end in the UJ? have to say I thought there would be a few other parts that would break in the transmission before the driveshaft:confused:

I have broke 2 in my x4 pro
  1. rear propshaft had elongated the drive pin hole, so kept chucking the pin out but this was partly due to the angle it was driving at, now i have the TE rear gearbox.
  2. front left driveshaft, snapped at the barrel, i think partly worn and also clipping the wall on the main straight at worksop.

iv not broken or bent a drive shaft in my X2C, iv had some epic crashes and also been shunted by an 8th nitro.
i would be looking for what is causing the problem as i dont really think that the drive shaft is the issue, but i could be wrong (my wife tells me i am all the time)

never had any issues with ansmann driveshafts untill today,One of our new club members had 2 fail today, both in the same place, snapped were the drive pin to the wheel goes through, checked his car over could find no problems tightness or binding:confused:,so I can only guess a bad batch!!
He was only running the std 540 type motor in rtr form, but with bearings
