fastinfastout 12-02-2012 01:51 AM

Totally agree, just buy a x2c which will be just as good

guinness 12-02-2012 10:48 AM

Lol, to start I don't really like to deal with E clips, I hate them, so much 1999.
I have a good ammout of spares and I would like to keep them and i like to think that tamiya is a better car then the x2c.
My other cars are all tamiya, yes I love tamiyas lol and been not good of a driver is good to remember that the car has won the last 2 euro races and more.
Like this is 95% tamiya still in there, with a Vega conversion goes down to 10%.

Mess

You really need to get or borrow a Dremel to tidy up the messy edges on the chassis, but other than that good luck to you. If that's what you choose to do to your car it's your choice.

re

nice work mate,

keep it up!

guinness 18-02-2012 02:06 PM

ok so i had the fist go yesterday at local track and must say IT WORKSSSS
the car feels definitely different the the one with rear motor, way better in the air and through the bumpy carpet track, more steering to.
overall it feels more stable and easier to drive.
out of the 4 finals i finished first on the C.
,in the qualify rounds one wire came off from motor(i hate soldering),in the other one been taken out just before starting the race
so i had just two rounds to get used to the car unfortunately ,and i haven't started playing around with settings yet.
im currently using 35 front/30 rear oil, yellow front ,red rear springs.
any suggestions in setting it up would be cool..
