Associated b4.1 help need please.
 

Hi guys.

I need info on what pinion to go for?

I'm using a 5.5t orca brushless system. YES i know 5.5t is a lot of power,but ive turned ALL the settings down to the lowest.

I'm using the standard b4.1 factory team spur gear which i think is 81t?

i am running a 18t on my car and i am running a big motor like that to :thumbsup:

it goes ok i done it cos mine was over heating :thumbsup:

Do you still get plenty of speed + does the motor stay cooler now?

btw what motor and esc you running?

I got the reedy esc and motor 6100kv I put a novak fan on it. It runs nice now :thumbsup:

hi im running an 8.5 orca in my b4.1 standard spur and 23tooth pinion and its a good all round set up for big tracks and small tracks and it never gets hot :thumbsup:

8.5T ,seems like a more sensible choice.

I Think the 5.5T is a bit of a overkill.
