Can anyone tell me what the roads are like near the sports centre? I'm coming from Manchester and wanna make sure it's worth digging my car out

Diane can you confirm if racin stil on today due to the snow fall can u reply asap then i can organise thanks jame

I have just checked with Whitcliffe Sports Centre and they are open - there is snow in the car park but they will start to clear it for us if we want to run the meeting.

Surrounding roads are pretty clear - roads leading to sports centre are on a main bus route so they are pretty clear also.

We really need to know as to whether drivers are going to turn up to make it worthwhile running the meeting. I will try to find out what the response will be for attendance - no good running if only a handful of drivers will be coming.

I'm only about 15 mins away, and the roads are fine here. I'm guessing actually in the car park is pretty much the only place that will have snow.
