Radio gear, core-rc or Spektrum

In this post...
http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92329
I'm having problem with a motor not running smoothly at low speeds.

I'm wondering if it's got something to do with the cheap acoms 2.4 ghz radio gear I'm using?

On the hunt for some new gear Ive come across these...

This from Spektrum
http://www.apexmodels.com/gbu0-prodshow/SPM3300.html

Or this from core-rc
http://www.apexmodels.com/gbu0-prodshow/CR151.html

Both are about the same price.

Which would be better in terms on preventing interferrence etc?

The tx/rx is the only thing on the car that I've not changed. I've had a new ESC, different motor, and new servo. I just can't get rid of the problem.

Oh, and I've also changed batteries as well, from nihm to lipos.

Radio Equipment and cogging

Would go with the other posts on here, Spektrum all the way over the Code radio. If I had the money would now go for the Futaba 2.4Ghz system but each receiver is nearly 100 quid.

Usually if you have cogging issues I would check the sensor wire first, check it has not popped out partially at one end or you could have a dry joint inside the motor or ESC causing problems.

One last thing, I seem to remember that some brushless speedo's were incompatable with certain brands of brushless motor ( they work but cog badly ), might be worth matching up the same brand motor as your Speedo.

I've tried a different sensor cable and re-soldered the motor joints, but that made no difference.

You might be right, maybe my ESC and motor just don't play well together.

Saying that, I've tried two other motors from different manufacturers, and they are the same.

I just cannot pin point what is causing the problem.
