brushless help
im looking for a brushless setup for my 4wd buggies and was wondering what i should be looking for
is this any good? i cant see if its sensord or sensorless http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hobbywing-...item3a6f17f3d2 |
The XERun is sensored. The version pictured is a 2.0 which is slightly older (now on 2.1), but I don't think it makes a difference to the general performance, my ESC is 2.0-based and can run all the current software. The motor pictured is also Hobbywing's older version. I don't know the seller so can't comment on how reliable they are.
It is a good ESC. The Hobbywing motor should be OK, although 5.5 is quite fast, most racers would go for the slightly milder 6.5 in 4wd, and if you are not that experienced or on a small track you might be better off with something even milder than that, anything down to a 10.5. |
thanks ive been looking at 9.5's too but read somewere that they would be slow in a 4wd but sounds like they would be better for me
|
so this would be a better bet then
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Etronix-Ph...item5d3233b312 im not going to be doing a lot of racing as theres none at my local club at the mo but i have a farm i can blast around on so id rather not spend a fortune |
