Help with Losi Wheels

Hi,

I have 2 pairs of Losi front wheels. They look like they need a star type drive for them or a smaller hex than normal. Can anyone tell me what they are off or what type of hex i need to run them as they both have brand new tyres on them and it seems a waste to have them sat doing nothing.

Cheers

Rich

They sound like 2wd fronts which will probably have a smaller hole where the axle goes through. I think they are a different offset to 4wd as well.

Photo may help, I think the 22 is the 1st to use hex type 2wd fronts in losi recent history:eh?:
maybe 4wd

The XXX 2wd buggy used hexes in that size, and so does the 22, and most 4wd cars. Offset and the centerhole is different on the 22 from the XXX.

Here is a pic of the inside of the wheel.

yep, silly me:blush:, just looked at a set of xxxcr wheels in the workshop, from the description of star type fittment they could well be what they are

yep,they are xxxcr wheels

To me, it looks like the hole in the middle is too big for xxxcr 2wd fronts, and so could be xxx4 fronts. They have the same hex drive but the bigger axle hole..

The XX also ran that type of wheel.
