double sided tape recommendations (bulk size)
 

Hi all

Getting a bit fed up of buying 2m rolls of overpriced servo tape..has anyone got any recommendations for bulk size stuff(ie 10m) which is strong enough for rc electronics..(there so many different types i didn't want to risk wasting money) also please preferably with a link from where you got it that would be brilliant.:)

Car body kit tape off ebay. Costs about £4 for a huge roll that lasts me a couple of years (10m or maybe 25m? Don't have ebay at work so can't look for it now).

Nothing ever falls off with this stuff; if it can hold a massive bright red bumper onto a Vauxhall Corsa, it'll hold your ESC down.

cheers dale i think i found the stuff you mean 6mm wide x 20METERS for £6 in total that nuts!!.

Maplins do a big roll for around £6, ive had it two years and have four cars running and still the roll is only 1/3 used.

I've ordered myself some Gel type tape off the bay..

When it arrives, I can let you know if it's as good as the gel type tapes we often see used. I much prefer the Gel tapes to the foam type as it comes away much cleaner, but sticks well.

I offered £3.75 for a roll and it was accepted.
