shims for diff out drives

Ok this is my second thread regarding 210 diff and related questions, query etc

So i have the slipping diff issue after i rebuilt it twice, anyway aside form that I was looking at the shims for the outdrives 2 x each side. Does everyone's have play side to side ? i have used 2 x shims as per kit on each side but there is still a fair bit of play is this normal as its a bit cloudy in the instructions.

cheers

Ae slipper pads are thicker than the stock durango ones and a straight fit!

Just rebuilt my diff and in the end of the nut carrier was threadlock that had set there. this was stopping the diff screw from tightening all the way ie before it was in the car felt ok but then when installed could not tighten any more. I used a blade and scrapped the residue out and ensured that the screw would go through the nut fully. Rebuilt the diff with ceramic balls now and its the best ball diff I have every built!!!
