Regional at TORCH

Guys

If you want to race at the TORCH 2WD regional in March you might want to get your entry in earlier rather than later. Booking in opened yesterday and already a third full if the 60 limit is taken seriously??

I've not raced at one of these before and understand in previous years getting an entry was never a problem but with the upsurge in 1/10th off-road I reckon they could be a bit fuller this year???

The booking in system is really simple to use.

The missus has inconsiderately decided to have her birthday on the date of the S&H round but I've booked Jack and myself in for all the other rounds. Be good to try some other outdoor tracks.

Rob, the 60 limit is just "a number", if we get close to it, I can up the level to 80, 90 or even higher if required (at each hosting clubs discretion), but fully agreed that i think it will be really busy this year

On a side note, if anyone is worried about getting an entry, then as you have said - book early - and especially for those marked as reserves already (who need to pre-pay their entries) I would suggest do so sooner rather than later to guarrentee that place!!

Thanks for clarifying, Darren.

We managed to attract 70+ drivers to at least one of our summer series last year so with the continued growth in drivers I'd hope we would be able attract somewhere near that number especially at the first event of the series when everyone is at their most enthusiatic.

It was a bit tight for space and relied on a lot of co-operation from the drivers on parking and pitting so I guess our committe will have to take a call on how many they think we can cope with.

Cheers

Rob

Had message from Mike to say parking will not be a problem. Think I am in trouble for even suggesting it:)

Do you have to have "brca legal" cells for these gigs?

Blah....not having a good week:blush:

Copied all the summer series dates and 2WD regionals into my calender and mixed them up:bored:.

Still I'm a month ahead of everyone else with my planning for world domination this summer:D

Better to have a bad plan than no plan at all.
I don't know what i have let myself in for, but have entered 2WD Regionals.
Look out Jack I am coming for you. Well done last week young fella.
