what breaks on a DESC410R?
I'm new to the DESC410R, and would like to get spares for anything that routinely breaks. Besides arms, inner hinge pins, and rear bulkhead, are there anything else I should be aware of? I already have upgraded to aluminum suspension holders and aluminum gearbox holder.
Do the stock plastic rear gearbox inserts break? What about the front and rear hubs, and also the steering knuckle? |
ive been told to replace the rear diff ring with the machined 1

front bumper can be quite weak. if your talkin abut the 2 plastic dif holders on the rear i would recommend upgrading them also, adds some needed strength. other than what you already mentioned thats all ive been able to break on mine.

Machine cut diff gears will make it bullit proof. Other than that they're tough as old boots.

I have the machine cut gears in mine but a friends truck has the stock ones which i shimmed for him, still running fine after 6 months of use. stock ones are fine as long as your running the center dif kit.
