Wheel salvaging

Going through load of old wheels and tyres. I baked them and got the wheel of the tyres without to much fuss. But how do you clean old wheels in acetone. Use a cloth or leave them in a container?

cut of the tyre take out the foam, dump them in acetone tub make sure lids sealed or it will be gone asap, take them out a day later or so and there clean, wipe down with a rag job done,

as Carl said. just don't take the wheels out and rinse straight in water or the glue residue sets on the wheels again. Get as much off as possible with a cloth of some kind. Don't get rid of the acetone, keep it in the air tight container and it will last ages. Even when it looks yellow and slimy with glue residue it will still eat off more tyres.

I use a 'jcloth' soaked in more acetone to clean them up afterwards.
