I've got the Tamiya Hop-Up Titanium one and to be honest I wouldn't buy it again for the following reasons:

1. It was expensive (very) for what it was.
2. You don't get all the screws (4 small 2.6mm motor mount ones etc).
3. Even a new 2mm Hudy allen driver is a sloppy fit in the hexes.

Having said that, at the time I didn't know what other options were available so I went the easiest route. I would think a good set of steel screws would be better.

My Durga

Hello folks,

This is my Durga , :D

Has all the bits and pieces from Tamiya and 3 Racing, except TRF Buggy Dampers which I am waiting for.

The 3 Racing Titanium hex screw kit includes the the four 2.6mm for the motor mount.

Yeah dont go for the Tamiya kit, i fitted one and it kinda sticks for the money, very sloppy on the driver end and like spoolio said, its not a full kit!
Id go for steel hardware TBH. Man i cant even get dampers yet lol, still waiting for them to pop up on the bay!

The kit from Tonys Screws is probably the best in terms of usability http://www.tonysscrews.com/product.s...&productId=410

They are black steel - so aren't going to save any weight, but they are really nice to use. Much nicer to use than the cheap Ti screws you can get.

Yeah I've got the Tony's Screws set, can't imagine how I ever put the car together with stock screws afterwards, it was just so much easier with the hex heads. The screws all come in individual packets so it's really easy to see whats required for what build step.

Do the Tony's screw sets come with an allen key?
