DEX210 vs. Savox low profile
I found that running the cells forward using a low profile servo really improved the mid corner speed of the car (thanks Hupo!). Problem is that so far I've been through two servo gearsets!!! :(...... which are very hard to get hold of.
This is probably due to the spurious carbon steering link being too strong - the factory plastic one would have snapped - protecting the servo. So I need a servo saver..... any recommendations? Kimborough one seems bulky but may be the best choice.... any others worth looking at? |
I use this http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebp...id=62&id=10085 and it works fine...

Which servo do you have?
I have been running a Savox LP since i got the 210 and its never missed a beat? ive been running the same servo all year, had it in a Cougar, RB5, B4, Losi 22 and its been perfect! |
I Also have à savox 1251 That breaks teeths like hell so i dont buy savox anymore :)
|
What do you use then?
|
no problem here with my savox 1251 low profile either
|
jayst tried a Kimborough servo saver and found it was too soft and wouldnt hold the wheels inline while entering a corner.
|
I tried one too and like eric said it doesn't hold the line you want.
|
Run Savos 1251 on both 210 and 410 not an issue have run them for years on 1/8th nitro as well only problem that i have ever had was that a pcb board went on one!
