Drool... How good does that look. I've always wanted to try a trigger throttle stick steering, looks like an impressive bit of kit.

Self assembly, looks like something James Bond would get out of a brief case from Q !

It does look really well thought out and it must be the first stick steer/trigger throttle/pistol grip transmitter but is it going revolutionize the hobby? I doubt it

And I bet it will cost £400:thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown:

was at last years toy fair :woot:

qatmix 17-01-2012 11:18 AM

looks interesting, however the stick seems to be for steering, which is the easy bit with a wheel. Its the stupid trigger throttle / brake which I cant get my head around.

bigred5765 17-01-2012 11:21 AM

:thumbdown:thats f++king disgusting what a waste of time, most people that use stick do so because they cant use the trigger as throttle and brakes, imagine the problems we will have with the module connections,uni3 has one set of connections and 90% of people i talk to have had probs with that sorry KO epic fail,

Ben Turner 17-01-2012 11:22 AM

Looking at the base unit and the attachements I would say that they will also have a stick throttle unit that clips into the other side of the unit.... this would make sense as there would be a connection there for left hand 'wheel' steering....

Heard it here first

Looks fantastic - I'll certainly have one if its not stupid money. Steerwheel of course - no sticks on mine :bored:

ryanlownie 17-01-2012 11:39 AM

Must have!

Looks like something from Akira

James 17-01-2012 12:23 PM

Looks cool as a steerwheel but the trigger/stick arrangment looks to have a really awkward grip :eh?:

MikePimlott 17-01-2012 12:43 PM

Its just another steerwheel radio, no one is going to use sticks in that layout

Agree with Carl

RogerM 17-01-2012 05:11 PM

So does that mean the Uni3 is the LAST KO stick radio???? :o

I'll agree with you there Carl the only thing that has stopped me getting a uni 3 is seeing a good few racers having to rebind their ko's on the grid!!!
