Sounds interesting, regarding tyre choice what surface(s) does it have? I may pop down so we can talk regionals to.

I'll do my best to come along, wife's birthday the day before though, might not be allowed out to play:lol:

Simon, as far as I know, it's a grass track, so the normal tyres for that.

Grass with Dirt jumps, it would be great to have a pre season chat!

TC track will be open and ready, a few people have mentioned that they will also bring there tourers so I'm sure there will be some competition!

Unless the weather changes to horrible I'll come along.

Undercover pitting is a bonus  do we still need to bring a table and chair?

finchy930 19-01-2012 07:49 PM

I think the seven of us that was out last week are coming Sunday. All off road and I will bring my tc. Let's hope it's dry!!

How much under cover pitting is available and do we need to bring tables and chairs? Also have you got a rostrum in place yet as I see on your website you currently stand on the bank?

TEMsport 21-01-2012 04:52 PM

We have plenty of tables but not a lot of chairs!
Undercover pitting for approx 10 in the container ,probably same again in caravan and a couple of large gazebos if needed.
Sadly rostrum is not ready but we do have a high bank , a few boxes to stand on and the rostrum area is roped off!

Fantastic meeting

The weather was great, racing very exciting and track was challenging!
The Norfolk team made it down and dominated the racing and gave some much needed advice on how to improve the track!
Some of the Coastal regulars attended and really got the best from there cars and track!!
So in all it was a massive success for both the new track and the up coming regional series, thanks to Team CMCC and all the drivers.

Don't forget both Colchester and Coastal are holding meetings all the way up to the start of the series and throughout the year, so plenty of opportunities to get some practice before series starts in March!!!
See you track side.
Thanks

Norfolk Buggy Club are also racing on the run up to the regional series, second and last weekend of every month.

Was good to see some new and old faces and hopefully the Regional series will be well supported throughout 2012.

Thanks to Tom for getting the East of England off road series off the ground.
