Trailing vs Inline

Can someone explain to me the difference. I have never understood it

Trailig= axels slightly behind center of pivot.
Inline= center of pivot.

Inline axles give better turn in and more responsive and aggressive steering.
Trailing axles reduce response so steering is smoother and buggy is more stable.

Is this front or rear or both?

And what comes standard with the kit :D

Fred79 15-01-2012 12:27 PM

This only aplies to the front and the kit comes with trailing spindles

Does anyone know if Darren ran the inline spindles at the Area 51 race?
He obviously changed his front camber mod back to normal length so maybe he changed back to trailing.

Never mind, setup has been posted, ran trailing now.
