Paypal App Warning!
 

Hi Guys
downloaded the latest version of the Ipad / Iphone Paypal app today.
And shortly afterwards my account was relieved of £74 / $110

Somehow a scumbag managed to find my password and transfer himself some money. :thumbdown:

Paypal have stopped the transfer and I should get a refund in ten days if there is no reply from the scumbag saying something stupid like ive sold him a kettle.

So keep an eye on your accounts even if you only access it from the PC.

I've had a similar thing today. The wife rung me asking if i had spent $150 on something through PP as she had the email saying it had been taken. I managed to get on line at work and cancelled the transaction. Its been reported to PP, will see what happens.

might not be the app as when i put an online order into JE today it wouldn't divert me to paypal just came up with an error message and a divert link, so had to phone order through will check my pp account thought

I tried the paypal app, and just didn't like or trust it.

Got rid of it pretty quickly
