22 mid-motor setup please
 
Hi lads.

i just went to mid with my 22 but i dont have an indoor setup for it.
if any-1 has a setup i could start with, i'd appreciate it.

bloomfields setup is spot on mate, use that.
Im running that, but with the saddle position mod, and some weight. the car actually understeers :thumbsup:

Shocks mid hole on tower, outer on arm
37.5wt Losi oil, 1.45x3 hole Gurnell RC tapered pistons, Black spring
Shortest Camber link, 1mm spacer inner, 2mm on castor block
-0.5 deg Camber
5 deg castor blocks in rear position, flat bulkhead castor shim
0 deg Toe
18mm ride height
Schumacher Yellow Stagger Rib on slim rims

Rear

Shocks mid hole on tower, outer on arm
32.5wt Losi oil, 1.55x3 Gurnell RC tapered pistons, Pink spring
Camber link outer on bulkhead + 1mm spacer, middle on hub + 2mm spacer
-2 deg Camber
mid wheelbase
+1.5mm Hexes
4 deg LRC
3 deg Anti-squat
18mm ride height
Schumacher Yellow Minipins (untrimmed) with Med Tubby inserts

Gear Diff with 3K oil (ran same set up with ball diff and was good but gear diff has transformed rear grip and calmed steering down... very smooth to drive)

LRP X12 6.5T
20T/78 Gearing
LRP SXX TC
Savox 1251
LRP 5000 50C saddles (in normal position with 82g brass weight under)

Kit body, full kit wing.

Here is my set up that I ran at the 3rd round of the Telstar series. I was pretty happy with the car, another set up to consider amongst everyone else's :)

just noticed my st up says im running Green rear mini pins :lol: obviously that should be yellow.
