2.5mm diff balls in Mad Rat ??
I know they're 3/32" (2.38mm) but would 2.5mm balls fit ? Only i can easily get Schuey carbide ones. I'm aware they would result in the outdrives being 0.24mm wider overall but the diff has plenty more lateral play within the gearbox housing than this anyway, & i'm also unsure whether they will drop into the diff gear ok ?
Any other obvious factors i've forgotten ? Dan. |
3/32" are the same size that associated use, CPD Racing does a set of 12 ceramic diff balls in all the popular sizes.

I know i can get 3/32"'s online but i can get Schuey 2.5mm ones tomorrow from my local shop.

Can you not take a drive cog and try a ball so to speak lol, if it fits in the holes then you're onto a winner

Try them by all means, but it would be easier to get the right size surely?
