World GT10/Pro 10 Tyres
 
Im starting a onroad speed project based on BMI DB10R and would like to know the best compound of tyres to run on tarmac and concrete

cream/white worked well at west london, but pink/purple for aldershot.. it really depends on the track conditions and grip levels

We really need to know where you are going to run before we can advise on tarmac tyres. I've used Corally Silver Star rears and Jaco 2x pink fronts successfully at Bedworth.

Im going to be running here, this is solely a speed project and wont be run at any tracks or racing

In that case you will want as hard a tyre as possible to cut down on the rolling resistance.

... and to ensure they don't fly apart at high speed. For a speed application, you'd be better off with BSR capped tyres for both grip and ensuring they stay together at high speed. Details here.
