What other diffs fit the 210? Need emergency replacement

Hi. Long time reader.

My first diff rebuild on this buggy and I forget the spring. Long story short, my diff will not come part and now feels like rocks.

I need a list of other manufacturer differentials that fit the 210. Preferably from AE or Losi (what I have available from local shops).

No US online stores have 210 diff rebuild kits in stock, and until TD gets their ass moving and starts shipping more parts I'm stuck right now with trying to piece something together.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Think you only hope is the sc10 gear diff or arrma gear diff

SC10 gear Diff, you need to add spacers , did to mine and made a plastic spacer, now its super smooth.

coppeid this on another thread on here, a few threads below....

Well I picked up the SC10 diff. Also, found these shims from HPI:

They match PERFECT to the stock diff shims. You need two sets to have enough spacing.

I'm starting with 3k oil. It's very smooth.

it looks like you could, just use the 410 pins

i ran my arrma diff on astro at cov on saturday . had 2k oil in . the car rotated really quickly and made the car twitchy . but jumping was ok a little rear end first . im goin to rebuild it with 5k oil to try next

stephenh 17-01-2012 09:50 PM

5K really! I had 2K and yeah it was a bit direct so I went to 1000cst and it was much better. I see some of the team drivers are down to 650cst. I would have thought lighter on higher grip was better.......... others may disagree

Don't forget if the durango diff has 4 small gears you will use a thinner oil

OneKiwi 18-01-2012 06:30 AM

Had a look and 650cts is only 45 wt losi oil, wow
