Mad Monkey Battery Tray Help Please

I need the size of the battery tray in an Ansmann Mad Monkey?
I have a HPI Blitz and the batteries I have are Turnigy 5000 but they are a little longer than standard [now I find out] but fit the Blitz just fine.
I am looking for a 2WD buggy but do not want to buy batteries as well.
I have tried them in a Mad Rat and they don't fit
So looking now at a Mad Monkey but no one at the club has one so can’t try. So can anyone help with the internal size of the battery tray on a Ansmann Mad Monkey?
Sorry if I have posted this in a wrong place, if I have please give a little guidance.
Thanks

Not sure on the monkey size sorry however if you get a Rat and the new Evo chassis which is 6mm longer than the standard one you might be fine.
Maybe measure how short it was in the Rat if less than 6mm all good.

I am running Hpi Plazma batteries in a mad monkey chassis.
They are 139mm wide and fit to within 1mm or so.

The mad monkey battery tray is 141mm x50mm
If you know someone with a mill you could easily
Mill another .5 mm each side in length giving you a extra
1mm
I hope thats any help
