x2c

Hi,

I am looking at getting a x2c for my first 1/10th as ive had a baja and now deciding to split and sell and go for some thing smaller and can race it locally instead off going miles away to race.

i want to buy as much as i can second hand so i need to know what motor and speed controller to buy. i can buy a speed passion 6.5 for cheap but not sure if that will be to powerful for me as a beginner. i have a spectrum dx3r so i dont need radio gear.

i just need your advice on what to buy for the x2c

Thanks

Anyone else have any advice

i would check what motor etc you can use at your local track mate. we are limited to 8.5 brushless but most of us use 10.5.

SamRCRacing 08-01-2012 04:09 PM

taplow has no limit.

make sure your build it with the upgraded idlers don't even bother with stock as they will go and it makes a mess.. loads of melted plastic gets stuck on the gears and diff!

someone has offered me an x2c with upgrades so hopefully it will be okay for the right price.

im getting my x2c tomorrow and need to know if a savox 1256 servo will fit in it.

brooksy 12-01-2012 08:17 PM

If its the standard size of most servos it will fit fine. I have a 1257 in mine.

It will work fine but be a little slow for steering duties. Try it and see if its ok for you. It was posted this morning mate recorded delivery as stated. Enjoy.
